These markers were created as an empowerment of sorts. Every woman, lady, girl (even dudes) will be called one of these names at least once in their lives. Whether it is to their faces or behind their backs, it's a reality. As a child, I was taught early on not to let other people influence how I felt about myself. My mother told me about "the c word" when I was super young and always told me to "punch them in the nose if they call you that word". It's sort of the way I've always been and I feel like more women are finally starting to own the words that they are called. Always remember that you can't change other people's opinions, but you don't have to let them effect you... to hell with those people, own it! This is my way of doing that... call me what you want, it will not bring me down at the end of the day <3
